Autumn is coming!

Our autumn badminton activities will gradually get underway. All coached groups will start on Monday 17th of August. Any exceptions will be announced separately. Everyone registered for a group will also receive a separate message with details before the group starts. Before the season begins, you can join ESB’s open badminton sessions and other events. And don’t forget to sign up for the autumn training groups!


On Bring-a-Friend -Wednesdays, ESB juniors can bring a friend along to try badminton!

The upcoming events will take place on 5th of August and 12th of August, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.




1) Autumn Group Registrations:

Registration for the autumn groups is now open .Please remember that all players must register again for the autumn season (group places do not automatically carry over to the autumn season).


Club members can register directly through our MyClub system:



2) ESB Special-Priced Courts Available 3.-6.8. & 10.-13.8.2026 (Mon–Thu)

  1. Check the court list and send your preferred court booking request to +358 400 493459 (WhatsApp / Sami)

  2. Wait for confirmation and payment instructions (MobilePay)


PRICE: 12€/hour (ESB member)

! Booking is available only for ESB members. ! Bookings are binding - no refunds. ! Courts cannot be booked at the special price through Forever or the MyForever app.




3) Bring-a-Friend Wednesday | 5.8. & 12.8. | 17:30-18:30 | Forever Matinkylä 

Bring-a-Friend Wednesday is a low-threshold badminton event and a favorite day among junior players. Bring a friend along to try badminton! An ESB coach will be there to help and introduce the sport.

Time and place:  Wednesdays 5.8. & 12.8. at 17:30–18:30 / Forever Matinkylä

The event is meant for juniors and free of charge. No registration is required.



4) How Are We Doing?

We are constantly working to improve ESB's activities and to ensure that our training sessions, events, and services meet the needs of our players and families as well as possible.


Now that the season has ended, we kindly ask you to take a few minutes to complete our feedback survey. We encourage you to answer openly and honestly. Please provide genuine feedback on both the things we are doing well and the areas where we can improve. All feedback is valuable to us, whether it is suggestions for improvement, compliments, or any other observations.

5) Open Badminton Sessions in August-

- Tueday 4.8.. At 17:30-18:30 / Juniors / Courts 1,3,5,7,9,

- Tuesday 4.8.. At 18:30-20:30 / Adult Hobbyt / Courts 1,3,5,7,9,

- Wednesday 5.8. At 17:30-18:30 /  Bring a Friend Wednesday / Courts 7,9,11,13,15,

- Wednesday 5.8. At 18:30-20:30 / Competition players (level Elite-A,) / Courts 7,9,11,13,15,

- Thursday 6.8. At 17:30-19:00 / Open session / Courts 7,9,11,13,15,



6) Try Badminton -Camp | Tue 11th of August at 10:00-13:00 | Forever Matinkylä

Badminton is easy to start and fun to play.


The camp is intended for children aged 7–12 years. Participants will have fun and enjoy playing badminton. The camp lasts three hours, from 10:00 to 13:00.

There will be a short break between the morning sessions, during which participants may eat their own packed lunch.


Location: Forever Matinkylä, Matinkartanontie 1, Espoo


Price:  The event is free of charge.




7) Badminton OPEN DOORS on Sun 30th of August 2026 at 10:00-15:00


Welcome to ESB's open doors. The event is free and is for the whole family.

There will be mini-sulkkis, free playing, skill challenges and tips from coaches! 


We have rackets and shuttles at the hall so just bring yourself!


Come and join us for a fun day full of badminton!
