U19 European Championships 2026, Tatabánya, Hungary - Akseli, Ananya and Unni competing!

The 2026 U19 European Championships will be played in Tatabánya, Hungary, from 18–27 August 2026.

The Team Championships will be played from 18–22 August. Finland will face Poland, Bulgaria and Portugal in the group stage.
ESB is represented in the Finnish team by Akseli, Ananya ja Unni. The Finnish team also includes Sam Lindberg, Axel Gras, Jussi Soraluoma, Johannes Lehtinen, Sanni Lehtinen and Cecilia Lehtinen. Nishant Kautekr is the team coach. The Individual Championships will be played from 22–27 August.
All Finnish players will also compete in the individual events.

Ananya: 1) "I'm excited to play and looking forward to the competition"
2) "By training a lot both on court and off court and at the same time, trying to avoid any injuries"
3) "This is a very important tournament for me in terms of learning and experience, so my main goal would be to perform my best and make the most of this opportunity"

5) "I am looking forward to have some good wins and a great experience" Unni:
1) “I’m feeling good and a little nervous.”
2) “I’ve been training a lot and have also practised with my doubles partners. We’ve also worked on our match tactics.”
3) “My goal is to be able to play my own good game and gain more experience from tough matches. And of course, I want to win matches too.”
4) “It’s an honour to represent Finland, and it means a lot to me. It’s also great to have the opportunity to show what Finnish players can do.”
