Sulkakauppa ESB Premier Elite 5.-6.9.2026 - Come and Enjoy a Great Weekend of Badminton!

The Premier Elite -season kicks off on Saturday with the Sulkakauppa ESB Elite 2026. tournament at Forever Matinkylä. The tournament will feature 300 players and a total of 238 matches.

The tournament will bring together top players from Finland and Estonia, as well as A, B and C class competitors from all around Finland.

In Men’s Singles, the top seeds are Ananda Galvani Daniswara [1] (ESB) and Eliel Melleri [2] (HBC). The other seeded players are Sami Pajunen [3/4] (ESB) and Rasmus Andersson [3/4] (TS).

In Women’s Singles, top seed Sai Abhijna Brahmakal [1] has been forced to withdraw from the tournament. However, her challengers Yelyzaveta Gusarenko [3/4] (ESB), Aino Övermark [3/4] (ESB) and Pihla Mäkelä [2] (TVS) will all be competing.

In Men’s Doubles, the top-seeded pair is Eliel Melleri / Niilo Nyqvist [1] (HBC/HBC), with Ananda Galwani Daniswara / Alan Muhammad Afwanil Hakim [2] (ESB/ESB) seeded second.

In Women’s Doubles, Iina Suutarinen / Noora Nokkala [1] (ESB) are the top seeds. The second-seeded pair, Sai Abhijna Brahmakal / Aino Övermark (ESB/ESB), have been forced to withdraw. Strong challengers include Elisaveta Berik / Emili Pärsim [3/4] (Triiton, EST) and Oona Tapola / Sarah Asfar [3/4] (ESB/TS).

In Mixed Doubles**, the seeded pairs are Anton Kaisti / Iina Suutarinen [1] (HBC/ESB), Jesper Paul / Oona Tapola [2] (ESB/ESB), Paphon Kademvudhi / Saraf Asfar [3/4] (BadU/TS), and Eliel Melleri / Aino Övermark [2] (HBC/ESB).

There will be plenty of exciting matches to watch throughout the Elite tournament And as we know, badminton is always best enjoyed live!

Mixed doubles is particularly exciting to watch and is a favourite discipline for many badminton fans. The first two rounds of mixed doubles will be played first thing on Saturday morning.

The tournament’s largest draws are Men’s Singles C and Men’s Singles B, each featuring 41 players.

Between matches, you can also upgrade your badminton equipment. Sulkakauppa will be on site throughout the weekend, showcasing and selling badminton products including shoes, rackets, grips, clothing and more.

A racket stringing service and café will also be available throughout the event.
