ESB's autumn season has kicked off with a good energy. There are many new players in the hall, plenty of happy faces, and a great atmosphere. ESB's coaching team has grown and become stronger with the arrival of Indonesian coach Alan Afwanil Hakim, who has started working with the groups. During the autumn season, there are plenty of events scheduled, including the international Finnish Youth tournament, the Arctic Open (featuring top players worldwide), and the ESB GameJam. In October, ESB is organizing the ESB goes Arctic badminton camp and the traditional school holiday camp for kids. New club jerseys and other club clothes are available for order. National Coach Day will be celebrated on Monday, September 25th. The day before, on Sunday, September 24th, ESB will hold a Club Day. Join us for games, meet the club's coaches and board members. Forever Matinkylä has updated its opening hours. Forever is open daily from Monday to Sunday from 05:00 to 23:00.
Customer service hours:
Monday - Thursday: 10:00 - 20:00
Friday: 9:00 - 18:00
Saturday: 10:00 - 14:00
Sunday: Closed
Forever Matinkylä has introduced magnetic cards and a numerical code for access outside of customer service hours. When customer service is closed, access to the hall is through the rear entrance of Forever. Forever club members can enter using their cards or the numerical code available with reservation bookings. ESB group instructors can grant access to the hall 10 to 5 minutes before the start of the session. We hope all players arrive on time. The instructor will check the situation more frequently at the beginning of the season but cannot leave the session to check the door mid-practice.
CLASH OF CLANS ARCTIC OPEN (October 10-15, 2023): The Badminton World Federation's (BWF) Super Series 500-level tournament, the Arctic Open, will be held in Finland in October. The tournament will take place at Vantaan Energia Areena and will feature nearly all of the world's top players, including the world's number one player, Viktor Axelssen from Denmark.

ESB GOES ARCTIC CAMP BADMINTON CAMP - October 7-8, 2023:
Welcome to join the top badminton camp at Forever.
The camp's head coaches are Indonesian Teguh Santoso, Alan Afwanil Hakim, Sami Parikka, and assistant instructors.
Come train with us and experience the Nordic spirit and Arctic atmosphere combined with Indonesian sweetness.
Groups will be divided into level-appropriate categories. Competitive players will have their own tailored training program.

DOUBLES CAMP FOR SENIORS - September 23, 2023: The Finnish Badminton Coaches Association is organizing a doubles camp for senior players on Saturday, September 23rd. The camps are open to all players over 35 years old who are interested in competitive play. The camp can accommodate 20 players.

ESB GAME JAM - Open Gaming Event for All Badminton Enthusiasts: Join the ESB GameJam event, where everyone gets to play matches with players of similar skill levels. ESB Game Jam features both singles and doubles badminton matches. You can participate alone or with a partner. Adult matches are organized in groups and adjusted based on skill levels as needed. In the junior event, instructors help find suitable opponents and playmates for the matches. Upcoming ESB Game Jam events for the upcoming season:
