The 2026 Finnish National Championships will be played from Thursday to Saturday, 29-31 January 2026 at Vantaa Energia Arena.
Everyone is warmly invited to come and watch top‑level Finnish badminton and cheer on your favorite players! An impressive 19 ESB players are competing, more than ever before. ESB's players Iina Suutarinen will compete as the defending mixed doubles champion.

The 2026 Championships will be held from Thursday, 29 January to Saturday, 31 January 2026 at Vantaa Energia Arena, Rajatorpantie 23, Myyrmäki.
Schedule & Match Details
Thursday, 29 Jan
From 14:00: qualification rounds
From 18:00: first‑round main draw matches (depending on the number of participants)
Friday, 30 Jan
From 09:30: Round of 16 and quarterfinals
Saturday, 31 Jan
09:00-14:00: semifinals
16:00-21:00: finals
Between the semifinals and finals, a spectacular JulkkisSulkkis charity event will be held from 14:00-16:00.
At the start of the finals, the Annual Awards will be presented to outstanding members of the badminton community from 2025.
Ticket Information
Tickets are sold only at the door:
Day ticket: €15
Fri–Sat ticket: €25
Thursday free entry (no ticket sales)
Payment methods: card and MobilePay
Children (5–15), students, and pensioners receive 20% off
Members who have received the Finnish Badminton Federation’s Golden Player Badge, Golden Merit Badge, or Hall of Fame recognition have free entry to the Championships. Please be prepared to show your Golden Player Badge or the free pass issued by the Badminton Federation at the ticket desk.
Doors open and ticket sales begin 30 minutes before the first matches of the day.
Please note that the upper doors will remain closed until then.
