ESB’s New Competition Support Policy

The ESB Board has approved a new competition support model.

Going forward, competition support will only be available to players who train in an ESB-coached group at least once a week.

An exception applies to the Finnish National Championships in the Open category, where the club will cover 100% of the entry fees for its players.

Under the new support structure, the support percentages for each category are as follows:

New support rates

Elite: 60%

A: 40%

B: 20%

C: 0%

The 50% support previously available only for Junior Elite events will be extended to all junior categories in tournaments sanctioned by Badminton Finland. The 50% support also applies to CJS tournaments.

The club will also cover the participation fees for both the Finnish Team Championships and the First Division.
