Coaching and playing groups:
When arriving in Forever Matinkylä it is a common rule to use the dressing rooms for changing into sportswear. Outdoor shoes should be left in appropriate places in the dressing rooms or at the entrance of the badminton hall. Other equipment, bags and valuable objects are advised to take with into the hall.
Persons who have registered for training groups are met by the instructors at the ESB information board (in front of court 10). It is good to be on time, about 5-15 min before the training. After this the players are escorted to the courts reserved for the training group in question.
Players please remember to wear appropriate clothes for indoor exercise (t-shirt, shorts/skirt, non-marking indoor shoes), water bottle, own racket (if possible). If required, a racket can be borrowed. Shuttles and other equipment needed are provided by the instructor of the group.
! The composition of the groups can change due to school schedules, age and skill or other reasons. There will surely be a suitable, inspiring and badminton skill developing group for everyone!
Groups will start:
On Mon 7.8.2023
– Playing groups (no coaching) On Mon 14.8.2022 – Contract player groups (adult competition, competition and hobby juniors)
– Senior groups – Adult groups
– Junior groups
– After school groups – Mini-sulkkis for 5-7 yrs. and junior groups for 7-9 yrs old – Hobby groups
– Competition player groups
Starting on Thu 31.8.
– Mini-badminton group for 7-9yrs. / Matinlahti school / Thursday 17:00-18:00 ! Players in this group have an opportunity to begin their season before the original start on September by participating in Mini-badminton group organized by ESB: - WILL BE INFORMED LATER
– Junior group for 7-9yrs. / Matinlahti school / Thursday 18:00-19:00 !
