ENTRY TO FINLAND & COVID

Updated 2021-10-11

As the restrictions and guides on how it is possible to enter Finland are many-fold we try to summarize them here by categorizing arrivals to three :

1. People who received two COVID vaccinations can enter the country freely

2. People arriving from EU or Schengen* area have also no restrictions

3. All others we have a special group permit from the border guard

People in category 3 still have two set of rules:

a) Those who have received only one vaccination or have a max 72 h old negative test result from the departing country >> new test required 72-120 h after entering Finland

b) Those who have not received any vaccination or have no test result to show from the departing country >> test need to be taken at the airport, plus a new test is required 72-120 h after entering Finland

Please inform us in case you have people in your group that are of category 3a or 3b, AND who stay in Finland longer than 72 h. We will look then for the possibility to have a common testing procedure arranged.
